Angry Neighbor
Sneak explore and outsmart a hilariously unhinged neighbor
Angry Neighbor throws you into a slapstick stealth adventure where curiosity is both your greatest weapon and your worst enemy. You play as an inquisitive resident determined to uncover the dark – and often absurd – secret hidden inside your eccentric neighbor’s house.
Gameplay revolves around sneaking into the neighbor’s home, searching for keys, and gradually unlocking new rooms and routes. There’s no strict mission structure: you’re free to roam, experiment, and improvise your own approach. This freedom of action is one of the game’s biggest strengths. You can climb onto roofs, crawl through windows, and use the environment creatively to stay one step ahead of your pursuer.
The neighbor’s AI is simple but effective. He patrols, reacts to noise, and sets traps that force you to rethink the paths you take. Being caught sends you back, but it also teaches you the house’s layout and the neighbor’s habits, turning each failure into a lesson. The tension is nicely balanced with humor, leaning into its parody roots rather than pure horror.
Visually, Angry Neighbor delivers surprisingly decent 3D graphics, with bright colors and exaggerated character models that match the offbeat tone. Performance is generally smooth, and the touch controls are responsive enough for sneaking, sprinting, and interacting with objects without feeling clumsy.
On the downside, the game can feel a bit rough around the edges. Pathfinding and physics are occasionally inconsistent, and the lack of clear objectives may frustrate players who prefer guided progression.
Still, for fans of quirky stealth games and light-hearted scares, Angry Neighbor is an entertaining, free-roam experience that rewards exploration, experimentation, and a taste for the bizarre.
