ADP Time Kiosk
Streamlined employee time tracking with badges and biometrics
ADP Time Kiosk is a dedicated time and attendance solution designed to sit at the heart of a workplace, acting as a shared clock-in point for teams of any size. Built to complement ADP’s Workforce Now and RUN platforms, it turns a standard device into a full-featured time clock with modern conveniences.
The core experience is straightforward: employees punch in and out using their ADP badge number or facial recognition, log meal breaks, and switch between roles with just a few taps. This makes it particularly useful for environments where staff move between departments, cost centers, or job codes, since those transfers are captured directly at the kiosk.
Beyond simple punches, the app lets workers declare tips, mileage, receipts, or other supplemental pay data, which is a strong plus for restaurants, retail, and field-based teams. Recent punches are visible on-screen, reducing disputes and giving employees quick confirmation that the system recorded their time correctly.
From an administrative perspective, the biggest strength is tight integration with ADP’s time and payroll ecosystem. Data syncs back to WFN Essential Time or ADP Time & Attendance for scheduling, approvals, reporting, and payroll prep. Offline support is another welcome touch: punches are cached when the connection drops and synced once the network is restored.
However, ADP Time Kiosk is very much a companion product. Without an existing ADP Time or Workforce Now setup, it has little standalone value. Configuration can also feel technical for smaller businesses without dedicated HR or IT support, and facial recognition performance will depend heavily on your device quality and lighting conditions.
For organizations already invested in ADP, though, ADP Time Kiosk is a practical, efficient way to modernize traditional wall clocks and tighten the link between the work floor and payroll.
