Explore the human body in stunning interactive 3D

Curiscope Virtuali-Tee is an imaginative educational experience that transforms a simple T-shirt into a living anatomy lesson. Using augmented reality, the app scans the specially designed Virtuali-Tee shirt and overlays a highly detailed 3D model of the human body directly onto the wearer, turning science class into something you can literally step inside.

The star of the show is its layered anatomy explorer. You can isolate individual systems – circulatory, respiratory, digestive and more – and rotate around them in real time. The visuals are crisp and colourful without being gruesome, striking a good balance between realism and classroom-friendliness. A guided narration from the animated doctor character, Hans Glover, adds clear explanations that make complex topics easier to digest for kids and curious adults alike.

A standout feature is the ability to “dive” inside the body. 360° experiences let you travel through the bloodstream, into the lungs or along the small intestine, creating a sense of immersion that textbooks simply cannot match. The heart rate tracker is another clever touch: measure your pulse with the camera and then watch your virtual heart beat in sync on your chest.

Virtuali-Tee works well for solo exploration in selfie or mirror mode and really shines in group settings such as classrooms or family learning sessions, where multiple devices can view the same shirt at once. Tracking is generally stable, though it does depend on decent lighting and a clearly visible T-shirt design.

The main limitation is that the full experience truly requires the dedicated T-shirt; the in-app demo is more of a teaser than a replacement. Still, for educators, parents, and science enthusiasts looking to make anatomy engaging and memorable, Curiscope Virtuali-Tee is a remarkably inventive tool.
