Each vehicle feels distinct, and the progression from modest road cars to top-tier race machines is satisfying, especially if you enjoy gradually mastering handling nuances, braking points and racing lines.

Circuits like Monza, Silverstone, Le Mans, Yas Marina and Circuit of the Americas are recreated with care, and racing a full 43-car grid creates a surprisingly intense atmosphere. Multiple camera angles and customizable controls let you tweak the experience to your liking, whether you prefer tilt steering, virtual buttons or assisted braking.

Content-wise, Real Racing 3 is huge. There are thousands of events across Cup races, Eliminations, Endurance challenges and a dedicated Formula 1® hub. Time-Shifted Multiplayer™ lets you compete against ghost versions of other players at any time, while real-time 8-player races bring genuine competitive tension, backed by leaderboards and social features.

The main drawback is the free-to-play economy. Car upgrades, repairs and top-tier vehicles can require either a lot of grinding or a willingness to spend money, and the balance will feel restrictive to impatient players. Nonetheless, for those prepared to chip away at events and manage resources, the depth and polish on offer are exceptional.
