The overview screen is the standout feature, giving you at-a-glance summaries of recent tests, active minutes and logged meals. Body composition results are displayed with easy-to-understand graphs, trend lines and brief interpretations, helping you grasp how fat mass, skeletal muscle and body water change over time instead of fixating on just weight. The ability to view historical data in monthly increments is especially useful if you are following a structured training or weight management program.
InBody also doubles as a basic lifestyle tracker. You can record workouts, steps, active minutes and food intake, then compare these behaviors against your changing body composition. The national ranking and friendly competition features add a motivational layer, particularly for users who respond well to gamified goals and step challenges.
However, the app is at its best only if you already use InBody hardware. Without a compatible device, much of its value disappears, leaving mainly manual logging tools that other wellness platforms offer with more polish. The nutrition tracking is functional but not as exhaustive as dedicated calorie counters, and the interface, while clean, can feel a little clinical and data-heavy for beginners.
Overall, InBody is an excellent companion if you regularly test on an InBody device and want deeper insight into how your lifestyle choices shape your body composition.
