This time you step into Charlie’s shoes, still trapped in the labyrinthine building, while J. supports him from other areas. The highlight is the character switch system, which lets you alternate between J. and Charlie to access different zones and solve interconnected challenges. It’s a clever mechanic that makes the level design feel more layered and strategic.

The new kitchen area stands out as one of the most atmospheric locations in the series. Narrow corridors, industrial freezers, and the looming presence of the Super Robot create constant pressure, especially when combined with patrolling Mini-Rods who call Rod if they spot you. Stealth remains the core of the experience: watching patrol patterns, sneaking behind cover, and timing your moves provide genuine suspense without relying solely on jump scares.

Puzzles are varied and generally intuitive, often tying directly into the story of rescuing your remaining friends. A dedicated mini-game puzzle adds a refreshing change of pace and breaks up the tension nicely. Fans of the series will appreciate how this chapter continues the overarching narrative while giving Charlie more prominence.
