Addictive color puzzle that tests your planning skills

Flood-It! takes an incredibly simple idea and turns it into a dangerously addictive pastime. Your task is to flood the entire board with a single color, starting from the top-left corner, within a limited number of moves. One tap changes the color of your connected area, and each decision can either set you up for a perfect finish or leave you one frustrating step short.

The game’s strength lies in its elegant minimalism. You get 30 levels, three different board sizes, and a straightforward interface that lets the colors and strategy shine. While the graphics are basic, they’re clean and vibrant, making it instantly clear what’s happening on the board. There are no distractions—just you, a grid of tiles, and the pressure of that move counter ticking down.

Flood-It! is a great fit for quick sessions, but it also rewards methodical thinkers. Chasing the minimum number of steps becomes a personal challenge, and the built-in user statistics add a welcome layer of long-term motivation. It’s satisfying to see your performance trend improve as you learn to plan three or four moves ahead instead of just reacting.

There are ads, as the developer openly states, and they can occasionally break the flow during longer play sessions. However, they don’t render the game unplayable and feel in line with many other free puzzle titles.

If you enjoy compact, brain-teasing puzzles that are easy to learn but hard to master, Flood-It! is a highly engaging option that can fill both a spare minute and a solid hour of focused play.
