The app covers all the staples: ping, traceroute, port scanner (TCP and UDP), DNS lookup, Whois, and an IP calculator. These are implemented cleanly, with clear output and enough configuration options to satisfy advanced users without overwhelming newcomers. The integrated Network Information panel is particularly convenient, showing your external IP, connection details, Wi‑Fi signal information, and basic traffic statistics at a glance.

Where Network Utilities really shines is in its discovery and control tools. IP discovery and IP range scanning make it easy to map every device on your Wi‑Fi, filter by open ports, and quickly spot unfamiliar hosts.
