FRAG is a colorful, arena-based hero shooter that distills competitive PvP into bite-sized, adrenaline-fueled matches. Instead of long tactical slogs, it delivers 1v1 and 2v2 duels that typically last just a few minutes, making it ideal for quick sessions while still scratching that competitive itch.

Matches are played on compact, multi-level maps where you control a squad of five heroes. The clever twist is that you can instantly swap between them on the fly, turning each round into a constant tug-of-war between offense and defense. Getting eliminated is hardly the end: you respawn as another hero almost immediately, encouraging aggressive pushes rather than camping.

The roster is impressively large, with over 150 heroes and a huge variety of weapons and abilities. From long-range snipers and shield-toting defenders to agile assassins and explosive area-damage specialists, team-building feels genuinely strategic. You can also customize skins and upgrade powers, giving your favorite characters a sense of progression over time.

FRAG lets you switch between first-person and third-person views at will, a welcome feature that suits different playstyles. Controls are reasonably tight for a touchscreen shooter, and the bright, cartoonish art style keeps the action readable even when things get hectic.

On the downside, the sheer number of heroes and upgrades leans heavily into a grind-based progression system. Unlocking and leveling the best characters can take time, and competitive players may feel pressure to invest in microtransactions. Matchmaking can also feel uneven at times, occasionally pairing newcomers against highly upgraded opponents.

Despite these caveats, FRAG succeeds as a fun, fast, and accessible hero shooter. If you enjoy short, intense PvP battles with a big emphasis on character variety and quick decision-making, this is an easy recommendation.
