Dino Bash
Cartoon dinosaur defense with strategic depth and nonstop action
Dino Bash is a charming tower defense and tug-of-war hybrid that turns the age-old battle between dinosaurs and cavemen into a colorful, chaotic spectacle. You command an ever-growing herd of dinos, defending a single precious egg from waves of hungry humans, and the result is both accessible and surprisingly tactical.
Gameplay unfolds in side-view lanes: cavemen march from the right, while you spawn dinosaurs and cast powers from the left. Basic raptors and ankylosaurs hold the line early on, but as you progress, you unlock heavy hitters like T-Rex and Triceratops, plus quirky support creatures that slow, stun, or knock enemies back. On top of your units, you also hurl rocks, drop volcano bombs, freeze enemies with blizzards, and place decoy eggs and traps, giving every level a satisfying mix of real-time reaction and pre-planned strategy.
The hand-drawn art is a standout. Dinosaurs are expressive and adorable without losing their sense of power, and the cavemen are goofy caricatures that keep the constant combat lighthearted rather than brutal. Animations are smooth, and the sound design – from dino roars to stone club thuds – nicely reinforces the action.
Progression hinges on upgrading your dinosaurs and abilities, which is where the free-to-play economy comes into play. You can grind in-game currency to power up your army, but later stages may feel a bit demanding unless you replay levels or lean on optional purchases.
Still, with over 100 levels, varied enemy types, and a steady drip of new units and powers, Dino Bash delivers a fun, polished defense experience that’s easy to pick up, hard to put down, and perfect for quick strategic battles.
