ConvertIt delivers fast accurate unit conversions for everyday and pro use

ConvertIt is a compact yet surprisingly powerful unit converter that aims to be the only conversion tool you’ll ever need. Rather than focusing only on everyday units, it goes deep into scientific and technical territory, making it suitable for students, engineers and curious tinkerers alike.

The app is organized into clear categories, covering the usual suspects such as distance, area, volume, mass, speed, pressure, energy, power and temperature. Where ConvertIt really stands out, though, is in its more specialized sections: magnetic flux density, dynamic viscosity, radioactivity, radiation dose and dose rate, RF power, luminance, illuminance and even typography. It also handles practical everyday needs such as data size, data transfer rate, fuel efficiency, exchange rates and blood sugar level.

Using ConvertIt is straightforward: type a value, hit Convert, then pick your category and the units you’re converting from and to. The interface favors function over flair, but its no-nonsense layout keeps everything easy to read and understand. Support for decimals and negative numbers means it can cope with most real-world calculations without complaint.

On the downside, the design feels a bit dated compared with more modern tools, and there’s no advanced niceties like custom unit sets, favorites on the main screen or a history of recent conversions. The free version is also ad-supported, which can occasionally break the otherwise focused workflow.

Despite these minor drawbacks, ConvertIt delivers a comprehensive, reliable and fast conversion experience. If you often bounce between everyday and highly technical units, it’s an efficient all-rounder that earns a permanent place in your toolkit.
