Samsung Flow aims to turn your Samsung ecosystem into a single, continuous workspace, and it mostly succeeds at that mission. By pairing your phone with a Samsung tablet or a Windows 10 PC, it lets you move content, notifications and even connectivity between screens with very little friction.

The standout feature is notification syncing. Messages, calls and app alerts from your phone appear on your larger screen, and you can often respond without picking up your handset. For anyone who works at a desk but relies heavily on their phone, this dramatically cuts down on constant device switching.

File and content sharing is equally polished. You can send photos, documents and links between paired devices through a simple, secure interface instead of resorting to email or chat workarounds. The connection is generally stable over Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth, and transfers are quick enough for everyday use. Flow can also toggle your phone’s hotspot remotely, keeping your tablet or PC online when you’re away from trusted networks.

Previously, one of Flow’s headline tricks was using your phone’s biometrics to unlock your PC. Due to Windows policy changes, that specific function has been removed, which may disappoint long‑time users. Biometric integration now feels more limited than it once was.

There are a few additional caveats. Compatibility is restricted to relatively recent Samsung devices and modern versions of Windows and the operating system, and some lower‑end models may not support all features. Users outside the Samsung universe will find no value here.

Despite these limitations, Samsung Flow is a powerful companion for those already invested in Samsung hardware.
