Visually, Egg Wars embraces a voxel look that will feel familiar to sandbox fans. Controls are straightforward, with building and combat feeling responsive enough for quick bridge-building and clutch fights. Team chat and the clear, shared objective encourage cooperation, making it particularly fun with friends or a well-synced random squad.

On the downside, newcomers may initially find matchmaking uneven, running into highly experienced players armed with better gear and sharper tactics. Occasional lag spikes can also affect close encounters, especially during crowded fights on the central island.
