SharkClean is the official companion app for Shark robot vacuums, turning routine floor cleaning into a mostly hands-off experience. Its standout strength is remote control: whether you’re on the couch or away from home, you can start, stop, or pause a clean with a couple of taps, then check in on what your robot has done.

The app’s interface is clean and fairly intuitive. Once your robot has mapped your home, SharkClean lets you divide the map into rooms and high-traffic zones, then launch targeted cleans for those areas. This room-by-room control is especially handy for quick touch-ups in the kitchen or entryway without sending the robot on a full-house mission. Scheduling is equally straightforward, with flexible day-and-time settings so you can automate regular cleans around your routine.

For compatible models, features like Recharge & Resume add extra polish. The robot automatically returns to its dock to top up the battery, then continues cleaning where it left off for more complete coverage. Owners of supported Vacmop models also benefit from a dedicated mode that switches seamlessly between vacuuming and mopping, controllable directly from the app.

SharkClean also doubles as a maintenance hub. Cleaning reports provide useful summaries of coverage and duration, and the built-in FAQs and troubleshooting tips can help diagnose basic issues without reaching for a manual. Push notifications for completed runs, errors, or full dustbins are practical touches.

However, not all features are available on every Shark model, which can be confusing, and some users may experience occasional connectivity hiccups or delays when syncing maps or commands. Even so, SharkClean offers a powerful, user-friendly way to manage Shark robot vacuums, making automated cleaning more precise, predictable, and convenient.
