Traffic Racer takes the classic endless runner formula and puts you behind the wheel, delivering a surprisingly tense and addictive driving experience. The premise is straightforward: weave through dense highway traffic, score points, earn cash, upgrade your ride, then do it all again a little faster and a little riskier.

The game’s biggest strength is how good it feels to drive. Steering can be handled either with tilt controls or on screen touch, both of which are responsive and intuitive. Cars have a convincing sense of weight, and squeezing through tiny gaps at over 100 km/h is genuinely thrilling. Risk is rewarded too: close overtakes, driving in the opposite lane in Two Way mode, and maintaining high speed all boost your score and income.

Visually, Traffic Racer still holds up well. The 3D graphics are clean and smooth, and the frame rate is stable even when traffic fills the road. Five different environments – from sunlit suburbs to snowy roads and rainy highways – help keep repeated runs from feeling too monotonous. The car roster is generous, with more than 40 vehicles ranging from compact cars to powerful supercars, plus basic customization through paint and wheels.

Modes like Time Trial, Police Chase and Free Ride add welcome variety, and online leaderboards and achievements give score chasers a clear target. On the downside, the progression can feel grindy, as the better cars and upgrades require a fair amount of repetition to unlock, and collisions are often unforgiving.

Overall, Traffic Racer is a polished, pick up and play racer that excels at quick sessions and high score chasing, especially for players who enjoy threading the needle through dense traffic at breakneck speeds.
