The RPG layer is surprisingly rich. You assemble teams from a large roster of heroes, each with distinct roles, elements, and synergies. Leveling, ascending, and equipping them becomes a long-term project, and choosing the right squad for each encounter is just as important as your matching skills. Five full seasons of story content, plus a steady flow of quests and special events, provide plenty to do, whether you prefer casual sessions or extended play.

Outside of combat, base-building adds an extra hook. Rebuilding your ruined stronghold into a fully functioning fortress gives you resource production, research, crafting, and training options. It offers a real sense of progression, even on days when you’re not pushing the campaign.

Competitive players will enjoy Raids and large-scale Alliance Wars, where team composition and timing of specials can mean the difference between a narrow loss and a thrilling comeback. Cooperative alliances also make the game feel social, with coordinated titan battles and shared strategies.

On the downside, progression leans heavily on grinding and a gacha-style hero system. Free players can advance, but patience is required, and some late-game content clearly favors those willing to spend. Energy limitations also gate longer sessions.
