Hitman Sniper
Precision stealth sniping with stylish assassinations and challenge
Hitman Sniper distills the essence of the Hitman series into a focused, mission-based sniper experience that rewards patience, planning and creativity. You’re anchored in a single vantage point overlooking a luxurious compound, but the variety of objectives and ways to complete them keeps the formula from feeling static for a long time.
Each mission tasks Agent 47 with eliminating high-profile targets while staying unnoticed. Success isn’t just about landing headshots; it’s about engineering “accidents,” manipulating guards and exploiting the environment. Shooting glass railings to send enemies plummeting, triggering car alarms to lure guards away, or timing a kill with a loud distraction all contribute to a scoring system that favors ingenuity over brute force.
The campaign offers over 150 missions and multiple contracts, gradually ramping up complexity and introducing secondary goals like body disposal and combo chains. Unlockable rifles, each with unique stats and special abilities, add a layer of progression that feels meaningful rather than cosmetic.
Death Valley, the zombie mode, shifts the tone toward frantic defense, challenging you to protect a survivor from waves of undead. It’s less subtle and more arcade-like, but works well as a high-intensity counterpart to the main mode’s meticulous pacing.
Visually, Hitman Sniper is impressive, with detailed character models, slick animations and a consistently smooth frame rate. The soundtrack and sound design reinforce the tense, clinical atmosphere fans expect from Agent 47’s contracts.
There is some grind in unlocking top-tier gear, and repetition can creep in if you binge-play, since you’re always sniping from fixed positions. Still, smart mission design, clever kill opportunities and competitive leaderboards make Hitman Sniper a polished, addictive entry in the series that shines in short, focused sessions.
