Squad Busters
Squad Busters blends chaotic tactics with party battle fun
Squad Busters is Supercell’s crossover party brawler, turning familiar heroes from Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Hay Day, and Boom Beach into a fast-paced scramble for gems, power, and survival. It feels like a bite-sized battle royale meets action-RPG, with a strong emphasis on squad composition and quick tactical decisions.
Matches are short, but surprisingly layered. You start with a single hero and must decide whether to play it safe by farming neutral mobs and chests, or dive straight into skirmishes with other players. Every new character you pick mid-match changes your role: you might suddenly become a tanky frontliner, a long-range sniper, or a support-style healer. The “fusion” mechanic, which lets you evolve characters into stronger versions, adds a compelling risk-reward element—do you chase fusions or keep a wider, more flexible squad?
Modes like Mayhem, Squad League, Gem Hunt, and Duos keep the experience varied, and modifiers such as Loot Goblins or Piñatas inject welcome chaos. The themed maps, traps, and bosses ensure that even veteran players have to adapt their tactics regularly, preventing matches from feeling too similar.
Presentation is classic Supercell: colorful visuals, expressive animations, and polished sound design that sells the party atmosphere. The crossover roster is a huge plus for fans of the studio’s universe, who will enjoy seeing their favorite units reimagined.
On the downside, the hectic nature of battles can feel overwhelming at first, and some players may find progression and character unlocking a bit grindy, especially if they want to experiment with every hero.
Still, for anyone who enjoys quick competitive matches with a strong strategic backbone, Squad Busters delivers an accessible yet surprisingly deep experience that shines both in solo queues and with friends.
