SeTracker2 is a companion app designed to work with compatible GPS watches, giving parents a practical way to keep an eye on their children’s location and safety throughout the day. Its focus is on real-time tracking, quick communication, and a set of safety tools that go beyond simple map viewing.

Once paired with a watch, SeTracker2 shows the device’s real-time and last known position on an integrated map. You can also review a “footprint” of historical routes, which is useful for checking school runs or daily routines. The geofence feature lets you define safe zones; when the device leaves or enters these areas, the app sends a notification, adding an extra layer of reassurance.

Communication is handled through an intercom system that allows you to record a short voice message from your phone and send it to the watch, and vice versa. In emergencies, SOS alerts and low-battery warnings are pushed straight to the app, so you can react quickly. There are also extras such as remote alarms, a “find watch” function that makes the device ring, and a rewards system where you can send virtual hearts as positive feedback.

SeTracker2 includes basic health tracking, showing movement data from the device, though it’s more about rough activity awareness than detailed fitness statistics. The settings panel lets you manage SOS numbers, working modes, and power options remotely, which is especially handy if the watch is worn by a young child.

The overall experience, however, is held back by an interface that can feel dated and occasionally confusing. Some menus are not clearly labeled, and server responses can be slow at times, which affects location refresh speed. Despite these drawbacks, SeTracker2 remains a functional, feature-rich option for families who prioritize simple GPS tracking and safety alerts over polished design.
