Create, raid and share endless fantasy dungeons with style

MONOLISK blends hack-and-slash action, card collecting and level creation into one surprisingly cohesive experience. It plays like a bite-sized action RPG where every stage is a dungeon crafted either by the developers or by the community, giving you a constant supply of fresh challenges.

You control a roster of five distinct heroes, each offering different playstyles, from nimble glass cannons to sturdier melee fighters. Progress is tied to a card-based system: equipment, abilities, creatures and even environmental pieces are all cards you collect and upgrade. This makes theorycrafting and fine-tuning builds genuinely satisfying, as a single new card can open up a whole new strategy.

The standout feature is the dungeon editor. Building your own levels is intuitive, relying on simple drag-and-drop tools powered by your card collection. You decide where enemies lurk, which traps to place and how loot is rewarded, then release your creation for followers and friends to tackle. It’s a constant loop of “play to earn cards, earn cards to build, build so others can play,” which gives MONOLISK a strong community-driven feel.

Visually, it opts for a clean, stylized fantasy look that keeps things readable even when the screen fills with enemies and spell effects. Performance is solid, and controls are straightforward enough that quick sessions feel satisfying rather than fiddly.

On the downside, progression hinges heavily on card acquisition, so players who dislike grinding may find the pace a bit slow. Community-made dungeons can also be hit-or-miss, with occasional unbalanced or trollish layouts.

Still, for anyone who loves both creating and conquering dungeons, MONOLISK offers a uniquely engaging mix of creativity, action and collection that’s easy to dip into and hard to put down.
