Track every run and conquer Epic mountains with confidence

My Epic: Skiing & Snowboarding is designed as your on-slope command center for all 34 resorts on the Epic Pass, and it shows. The app brings together navigation, live conditions, and personal stats in a way that genuinely enhances a day on the mountain.

The star feature is the interactive trail map. Using GPS, the app pinpoints your location so you always know which run you’re on and how to reach the next lift or lodge. Filters for open/closed trails, lift status, and grooming info make it easy to hunt down freshly groomed cruisers or avoid areas that aren’t running. For larger resorts like Vail or Whistler Blackcomb, this is almost indispensable.

Equally useful are the real-time lift wait times and resort alerts. On busy days, being able to reroute around congested lifts can save a surprising amount of time. The inclusion of weather, snowfall totals, and live webcams rounds out a solid picture of conditions before you even clip in.

For stat-obsessed riders, the vertical tracking is addictive. You can see your vertical feet by day, season, or lifetime and compare big days across trips. The ability to make on-mountain dining reservations up to 24 hours in advance is a welcome bonus, especially at popular base areas where tables disappear quickly.

There are a few caveats. Continuous GPS tracking can impact battery life, and map loading can be slow in areas with weak data coverage. Lift wait times also depend on resort systems being up to date, so they’re not infallible.

Overall, My Epic: Skiing & Snowboarding is a polished, feature-rich companion for Epic Pass holders, turning a day on the slopes into a smarter, more informed, and more trackable experience.
