Despite its focus on Vietnamese, the keyboard handles multilingual use gracefully. The integrated spell-checker simply stops treating a term as Vietnamese when it does not match, so you can mix other languages in the same sentence without constantly switching layouts.

Customization is another strong point. You get a wide gallery of themes plus the option to use your own photos as backgrounds and even share your designs with the community. Emoji, emoticons, symbols, and Zamoji/Zavatar stickers are tightly integrated, turning chats into more expressive exchanges.

On the utility side, voice input, an optional number row, and the ability to swipe the spacebar to move the cursor make everyday typing more efficient. There are also multiple layout options to fit different hand sizes and screens.

Some users may find the rich settings menu slightly overwhelming at first, and newcomers to Telex will face a short learning curve. However, clear explanations and consistent behavior help smooth that out. Privacy-conscious users will appreciate that, beyond configuration sync via Google Drive and anonymous statistics, the app does not transmit what you type, keeping sensitive data on your device.
