Wiseplay is a multimedia player focused on flexibility, giving you a smooth way to enjoy both local files and remote streams in a single, clean interface. It supports an impressive list of formats – from classics like AVI, MKV and MP4 to network streams using HTTP, HTTPS, MMS, RTMP and RTSP – so you can throw almost anything at it without worrying about compatibility.

One of Wiseplay’s strongest points is playlist management. It can load w3u and m3u lists from a file, a direct link or even a QR code, which is especially handy if you follow online channels or curated collections. The app doesn’t provide its own content, so you must supply your own sources, but once that’s done, switching between streams feels fast and intuitive.

Casting is equally well handled. When a Chromecast or DLNA-compatible device is detected on your network, the casting icons appear automatically, and sending a compatible video to the big screen usually takes just a tap. There’s also a dedicated version adapted for TV interfaces, making navigation with a remote much more comfortable.

Where Wiseplay sets itself apart is the built‑in VR player. You can watch 3D or 360° videos with VR glasses, or enable Cinema Mode to project any regular video onto a virtual big screen. It’s simple to set up and adds a fun extra dimension if you enjoy immersive viewing.
