Relaxing merge puzzles meet charming town rebuilding

Travel Town blends two highly addictive formulas—merge puzzles and town restoration—into a colorful, laid-back experience that’s easy to slip into and hard to put down. You’ll arrive in a storm-battered seaside village and gradually breathe life back into it by combining items, fulfilling requests, and upgrading buildings.

The core of the game is its merge board. You drag and combine matching items to create higher-tier objects, which are then handed over to villagers to complete tasks. With hundreds of objects to discover, there’s a constant sense of progression: simple shells become elaborate souvenirs, basic tools evolve into impressive equipment, and each upgrade nudges the town closer to its former glory.

Travel Town’s characters add charm to the otherwise mechanical loop. Around 50-plus villagers each come with their own needs and mini-stories, giving you a reason to keep merging beyond just ticking off checklists. The town’s visuals are bright and inviting, with each new building and decoration making the seaside setting feel more alive.

However, the game leans heavily on energy and timers. Sessions are naturally short unless you’re willing to wait or spend, and the later stages can feel grindy as higher-level items take longer to produce. Occasional prompts to purchase boosts or packs may also wear on more casual players.

Overall, Travel Town is ideal if you enjoy relaxed, incremental progress and find satisfaction in watching a rundown place transform into a bustling, picturesque town. It’s not a fast-paced puzzle challenge, but as a cozy, slow-burn builder, it works very well.
